What we store, and for how long

WhatWhyHow long
Your Discord user ID and name To count your entries and to know who won While the rewards run, or until you ask us to delete it
The clips you post and the name you chose to be credited as To review them, to use them in videos, and to credit you Credits in published videos stay, because the video stays
Your PayPal email address Only to pay your prize Encrypted on our server, deleted seven days after we have paid you
A record of each payment: your Discord name and user ID, the amount and the date So we can show that we paid you Stays, also if you leave the server. It is not public and contains no address

What is public

If you win, your Discord name, your place and the amount are posted in the #winners channel.

In #hall-of-winners we list the amount and whether the prize has arrived. Your name appears there only if you choose to show it when you confirm that your prize arrived. Otherwise the line says “a winner”.

That list never shows how you were paid, when you were paid, or your PayPal address.

If you change your mind

Write to contact@palmmile.com and we replace your name with “a winner”. The amount and whether it arrived stay, so the payout can still be checked.

The same happens automatically if you leave the server.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@palmmile.com.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on, except where the law requires it.

Google Drive

Clips that are accepted for a video are copied to a Google Drive folder so that our editor can work with them, and deleted again after the video is published. Our tool only ever touches files it created itself.
